in the midst of exam prep now.. though almost all other JCs are almost done with the midyrs.
Mine only starts on next tues!! can't wait to play awhile after that. then must go back to study-mode.
need to refresh stuff that's not covered for midyrs already! the school's going like a bullet-train.
or worse, a bullet.
(: at least i'm kept sane and happy with my friends, classmates, cca-mates! can't do without them. Heh and of course, my beloved family :D.
not to mention a certain "someone". if that's EVEN considered a "someone". (skeptical look exchanged.) i'm close to obsessed. =.= (<< see the dark circles!! more due to studies than anything else)

feeling rather happy today; shan't think too much into things.

oh oh, 3rd period PE is surprisingly... FUN. LOL

although the arm-exercises and the JUMPING-WITH-TWO-LEGS-ON-THE-HIGH-TRACK-STAIRS were painful and SCARY.

haha, had a splitting headache today, but can concentrate in lectures and tutorials more than usual.

ok already, need to chiong my geog readings due tomorrow, and practise for musicfest!! >.<

TADA! I'm here to show-off abit of my beloved school! :D
Took some random shots of the sch etc yesterday, during Dare2.
Stand for like what, 2-3hours?? Taking photos of people rock climbing, posing for photos, sleeping on the floor, running, drinking.. and whatnot.
Very fun la, except for the fact that I had to wait for 1.5 hours before people run in to my station (last station). SO LONG luh.. and the sad thing is I don't know anyone in school during that time!

I've been rather emotional (emo) last week..
Been talking to Joleen, and mentioning to Valerie, Evon, Josie, Minghong... on the "missing feeling" in VJ.
Sure, VJ's like the best school I can ever ask for :D, but got that "something missing feeling" last week. I think it's very largely due to the absence of all the Pancakes.

;D BUT TODAY, EVERYTHING'S GREAT ALREADY.
The one hour lunch period was when we totally bonded with each other (the girls), and I've never felt so close to a class after only 7 days together! :D
I really like the warm warm feeling after conversing with a group of happy friends!
Got a hunch that the bunch of us will get pretty BFF-y throughout the next 2 years.

The bus ride home with Ming Ee was great too.
We talked about school, and of course guys haha.
That's why I agree with Celina that when you gossip with another girl over guys, you're getting close to her! ;D (in a friendship way!)
Ha, although I had a sneaky feeling that for about 25min of the bus ride, two rather adorable primary/lower sec (??) boys were eavesdropping on our conversation.
Ohwell, whatever (: it might be better to let them know EARLIER, how NOT to repeat the nonsense and mistakes and not-very-nice- actions of certain guys we discussed about!


And Lit lesson was fun today! To think I'm starting to ENJOY poetry. xD
Unbelievable eh!
Hmm, our Lit text "Disgrace", seems rather.... unexpected though.
I've only read the first two pages of the text given, and both pages revolved around sex.
Hmm, will be an interesting read compared to that of Animal Farm in sec2 -.-

I LOVE GEOG LECTURES TOO.
Gosh, the Head of Geog is so hilarious. Fortunately or Unfortunately, 09A14 is well-known already!!, after only 2 lectures!

VJC Orientation 2009 is unbelievably great! Not that I know much about previous years' orientation, but it's the best orientation I've ever had!!!
It's amazingly organised, and fun-filled in SO many ways that 20 people's fingers and toes added altogether wouldn't be enough to count the ways.

But I'll have to agree that the Mass Dance @ Suntec yesterday evoked something more important than fun--- Friends. And when I say "Friends", I mean true friends that know you for who you are and love you all the same regardless of circumstances. The friends I made in my OG are really really nice people, that's for sure (: both guys and girls. But I think my personality and theirs differ in some ways that make me feel this way.
Heh, I was only super super high when with XMS ppl of VJC 2009!! :D (was finding Valerie for quite a while; thank goodness for the choo-train) GO XINMIN! GO VICTORIA!
I THINK VJC'S MASS DANCES ARE THE BEST!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
AND I can't wait for VJC's prom next year! LOL, can't believe I'm saying this when I've just entered VJC, but there's DINNER AND DANCE!!! DAAAAAAAAAAANCEEEEE. Yay, that's EXACTLY what prom should be.
(SQUEALS)

Anyway, back to orientation ;D
I LOVE the school spirit. VJC is like a hyped up XMS! ;D
The friendly cohort and seniors; the extremely well-organised activities and arrangements, the interesting range of characters of teachers, the warm and homey environment of the school, etc; makes me SO PROUD TO CALL MYSELF A VICTORIAN.

:D Can't wait to meet friends and classmates of Class A14 on monday!

AND AND AND I know how to sing VJC school song already!! after around 3 tries this week? hehe ;D

Not to mention, VJC's handbook/jotterbook is SO :D :D :D :D :D.
I simply love the cute, witty information on FOOD, FRIENDS, SCHOOL, TEACHERS, STUDIES, GAMES in it!
Scarily, I feel excited to attend lessons and lectures in school. Can you believe I can't wait to study?

Time has flown by so fast that I can't remember when was the first time I received a compliment or flirt from a guy.
Now, there's this guy throwing a flirty compliment to my sister. -.-
and he's not even in the same sec sch! (In hwachong inst., which is near nanyang girls but still. -.-)
They didn;t even talk much in p6 class.
-.- Amazing how guys like to practise flirting.

ok, SOME guys.
And to see her face flushed slightly really brings me back to the days when I was 13. -.-
And I mean she flushed in front of a comp screen mind you.

Anyway, on a lighter note, I got into VJC!
Really can't believe it. I'm still in the "are you sure" kinda awe.
I read the MOE sms like more than twice to see if my 'morning eyes' were playing tricks on me.
Really hope joleen and huiting will have successful appeals to VJC! Then we (val and I) can meet up with em more often.

Hopefully Terence's appeal will go thru too! Then can be with anghui.
Sighs. One weird thing is that ppl who wanna go AJ get into other JCs, then ppl who GOT into AJ don't want to go to AJ. -.-
